Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Happy October! Time is flying! This week, we finished our natural disaster essays and began our Saints essays. Each of your children has already chosen their saint that they want to research. They have begun the writing process, namely step 1: brainstorming. We will begin our rough drafts next week. Students will also be creating a fact poster about their saint. On Thursday, November 5, students will represent their saint at Mass and at a presentation in the auditorium later that morning. We have also continued our Number the Stars journey, and we took our test today. Tests should be signed and corrected, if chosen to do so, are due on Monday. In Math, we continue to learn multi-digit multiplication. In Religion, we learned about archangels and will be working on our project about them next week. In Science, we explored animal and plant adaptations. Have a great weekend!
