Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Another busy week in fourth grade! We took our I-Ready diagnostic tests in both Math and Reading this week. Students will work periodically throughout the trimester on I-Ready lessons. We will do this in class, and it will bot We have begun adding and subtracting multi-digit addition and subtraction. We have continued our novel study of Number the Stars. We have begun our nonfiction research writing project for September. Students will be writing a four paragraph essay on a natural disaster. We continue reviewing nouns. In Science, we studied the parts of a plant, reproduction, and the different types of vertebrate groups. In Religion, we studied how Jesus saved our souls and why he is called the Savior. I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing Labor Day weekend.
