Welcome to Fourth Grade! This is the end of our first full week of school and it has been fabulous! We worked with our faith partners, and worked on projects with fifth grade. We have elected a class mascot, Linda the Llama. She will be going home with each student throughout the year to have for a visit. We have begun our novel study of Number the Stars, and will begin researching our first nonfiction essay topic, natural disasters. We have been reviewing place value, and how to compare numbers. We have been working on the four B’s of Behavior: Be Kind, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Your Best. We have also discussed as a class how we can help be a rainbow in someone’s cloud. In science, we have begun learning about plants and animals. It as been a very busy week!
