Happy Holy Wbeek!
This is it! Spring Break time! This week we worked on our Mythical Creatures Book, and it is just about ready to be sent to the publishers to be reprinted and then bounded. This will take about a month. We also worked on figurative language and especially idioms. In math, we have begun our new book, and a new chapter. We will be learning about measurement, both customary and metric units. On Wednesday, we watched the seventh grade’s reenactment of the Last Supper. The students were amazing. In science, we continue to learn about the different forms of energy. Have a wonderful Easter holiday!!!
****RECESS REMINDER***
We are entering into that weird stage of Chicago weather. You know! We will have all four seasons in the same day. Please dress your child in layers. We will go outside if there is a chance of it and it will be better if the students are dressed accordingly.
