Hello Fourth Grade Families,
We are in the final stretch! We have finished our novel, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. We begin a new novel next week, Chocolate Fever by Robert Kimmel Smith. The students should enjoy it! We are almost finished with our poetry books. We have begun this month’s research topics, endangered animals. Students will need to bring in their materials to make their zoo exhibits by May 22. In math, we will be taking our chapter test on measurements in both customary and in metric units next week. In religion, we celebrate Mary as it is the month of May. We worked on a coloring sheet honoring Mary with our Faith partners on Thursday. In science, our butterflies hatched our of their chrysalises today. We will be releasing them into the world as soon as the weather warms up. We also will be taking our chapter test next week as well.
